SAP ByDesign Functional Consultant
London (hybrid)
£350-500 per day outside of IR35

SystemsAccountants are currently working with an SAP ByDesign end-user looking to bring on a SAP ByD Functional Consultant to finalise the SAP ByDesign implementation and post go-live support and development.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing functional and technical support of the SAP ByDesign ERP system
- Providing strategic advice to the wider business
- Leading projects in the implementation of SAP ByDesign
- Managing the SAP ByDesign system and ensuring that finance systems are maintained and updated in order to meet business needs
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the ERP Systems – with responsibilities for systems access, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionality as required
- Project work involving systems and process improvements and implementations
- Managing backend processes
- Supporting the users of the finance systems and providing specialist knowledge and training
- Liaise with other departments and end-user team members to provide day-to-day support
- Managing the relationship with the implementation partner
Role Requirements
- Must be a SAP ByD Technical Consultant, with an in-depth knowledge of the system
- Must be immediately available for work
- Experience required in project finance and project set-up
- Ideally, experience working on ERP systems within a professional services organisation
- Knowledge of configuration on HR
- A background in change management would be beneficial
- Experience dealing with ERP systems in an international/multi-national company context
- Experience leading and managing projects
- Strong understanding of finance and financial processes
