SystemsAccountants is looking for an experienced and collaborative Workday Financials Technical Engineer to join our client’s inclusive team. This full-time Solution Engineer role is remote and offers a favorable salary and benefits package, including flexible travel.
As a Workday Financials Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions within our financial systems. You will also design business applications based on feedback from product management, stakeholders, and customers, in which extensive experience and best practice knowledge are applied. Please note the job duties and responsibilities of this role are unable to be performed in the State of Colorado at this time.
During your first few weeks in this Solution Engineer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:
- Design business applications based on feedback from product management, stakeholders, and customers
- Ensure all solutions are developed and documented in a manner that allows for ease of maintenance by our support team
- Lead business analysis process with the customer where information about business processes and concerns are gathered from key internal business stakeholders and best practice guidance is provided
- Present documentation on business analysis and solution requirements to key business stakeholders for validation, buy-in and approval
The successful Workday Financials Technical Engineer will need a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job. You will also require:
- Workday Financials experience, including administration, security setup, business processes, and integrations to other systems
- Experience with programmatic capabilities like Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio
- Avalara Avatax experience is preferred
- Zoura RevPro experience is desirable
