Financial Systems Manager (SAP S/4Hana) – Hybrid (Chicago)
An exciting opportunity is available with a high growth company with operations across the US. As part of a current SAP S/4Hana reimplementation, the business is looking to streamline and optimize all core finance processes including: – R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A.
Working alongside their internal program team and finance function, they are looking to hire someone internal with vast functional Accounting expertise to support them with this journey, specifically, with the core finance model design within S/4 HANA. In this role you will have functional ownership of the core finance modules within SAP – GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash, and Banking.
What will I be doing?
- Partner with the Group Process Owners (GPOs) across all core processes, to help them rationalize their processes in SAP.
- Engage stakeholders to see the value of S4HANA in the transformation process
- Bridge the gap between the external partners and the client internal teams
- Make recommendations on what to do and not do in terms of the core finance model design
- Take a solution-oriented approach to solving problems in the design process
- Advise on who, how, where, when, and why with respect to core finance processes e.g. Chart of Account design
- Centrally involved in data migration, process mapping, documentation, design, UAT and hypercare phases
What profile will I need?
- A senior accountant/finance lead that is an expert on financial processes mapping / optimization
- Has led from a finance point of view on single instance SAP S/4Hana or ECC6 solution multiple times.
- Must have SAP S4HANA Cloud & understanding of core finance modules from a process perspective
- Is based in the US and eligible to work
- Excellent business analysis & documentation skills
