Our client is looking for its new Global Financial Reporting Systems Lead to join their teams!
What will I be doing?
The Global Financial Reporting Systems Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing financial reporting systems (HFM, Essbase, FDMee, OneStream) used for internal financial reporting. This role is part of the RC Controlling & Reporting team and reports to the Group Financial Controller.
- Leading the development, implementation, and administration of financial systems to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Managing Financial Reporting Systems and coordinating the internal change management process.
- Acting as the Functional Expert for an internal reporting system and ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Leading the digital transformation for the implementation of new Finance Accounting and Reporting Systems.
- Leading or contributing to Finance Transformation Projects, including new market integration, digital initiatives, and data integration into new Reporting Systems.
- Interacting with and influencing key stakeholders such as corporate and segment Financial Planning teams, CFOs, and controllers.
- Ensuring compliance of Financial Reporting Systems with internal guidelines and best practices, including user access checks and documentation.
- Striving for continuous improvements in various processes, meeting specific KPIs.
- Educating and empowering local unit controllers and the Global FP&A Team on periodic reporting submission and analysis through training and procedure maintenance.
What kind of skills and background will I need to have?
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills :
- Ideally a finance background with a master’s in finance or related disciplines and/or related certification ;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as reporting tools and software, SAP is greatly appreciated, as well as Oracle / OneStream ;
- Previous experience in Project Management (agile methodology);
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as analytical skills to solve problems;
- Driven and Proactive, and great team player;
- Fluent in English.
