Introduction to the Position

Our client is embarking on an exciting Digital Transformation Programme, aimed at improving their business processes to meet the demands of continued growth and innovation.

They are currently utilizing a local HRIS solution and various small tools for Finance systems, they have made the strategic decision to adopt a new Business System Platform for Finance and HR – Workday.

As part of this initiative, they are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to manage the implementation of Workday and drive long-term improvements to our client’s business systems post live.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project manage the implementation of Workday, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and IT stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration throughout the implementation process.
  • Oversee post-live operations, managing and optimizing the functionality of Workday and other business tools.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency enhancements, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize and implement changes.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring the effective utilization of Workday and other business systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in Business Systems Management, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

  • Fluent in German, with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders in a German-speaking environment.
  • Proven experience with Workday Financials and HRIS, ideally including hands-on involvement in Workday implementations.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Familiarity with other business systems and tools, particularly in the Finance and HR domains.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
