Support the Finance Manager in developing and maintaining the finance systems (currently including General Ledger, Creditors Ledger, Debtors Ledger, E-procurement, banking software and support services charging).
To contribute to development of all the Council’s financial systems and associated reports, developing systems to provide excellent financial information in a cost effective and efficient way, working closely with the Finance Manager (Systems and VAT) to maximise technology and its benefits.
To support the efficiency work plan to deliver new and improved ways of working, by maximising the use of existing systems and software. This will create lean processes within the service area and aid all system users across the council.
