Role Title: R2R Process Specialist

Role Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)

Location: London

Our high-profile client is looking for an individual with proven experience of improving the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream to join them for a fixed-term period of 12 months and to take complete ownership of the reengineering and improvement of end-to-end processes around the R2R workstream and Chart of Accounts Optimisation.

You will be responsible for the improvement and delivery of the R2R global template, ensuring best practice is followed of global finance processes, creating documentation, testing solutions, carrying out gap analysis between as-is and to-be, delivering training and working collaboratively with key stakeholders.

The R2R Process specialist will quality assure existing core accounting processes and enhance the existing documentation to support this. Furthermore, they will be responsible for governance and reporting for the workstream, as well as supporting the programme team with UAT, cutover, business readiness and go-live for any changes made.

You must have previous experience of: (ESSENTIAL)

  • Working as a R2R Process Expert / Workstream Lead / Chart of Accounts Design Consultant within a global finance transformation environment
  • End-to End R2R workstream roll-out experience in the context of an ERP or Finance System optimisation project, ideally SaaS or cloud-based systems (NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials, Dynamics365 etc.)
  • Qualified Accountant or strong understanding of finance processes (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and accounting principles
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of managing technology change across finance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify areas for improvement to increase efficiencies across the R2R workstream
