What Will I Be Doing?
As the Consolidation Systems Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Implementing internal customer requirements into the Group Consolidation System through regular functional maintenance.
Preparing the Group Consolidation system for reporting with monthly Closing Preparation activities.
Supporting the reporting process by providing information and troubleshooting financial data issues beyond the scope of 1st level support.
Collaborating with the Development Team to implement new functionality into the group’s consolidation system as per internal customer requirements.
Following applicable change and development processes to ensure reliable and high-quality delivery.
Providing detailed documentation and facilitating knowledge handover to other support teams as needed.
Initiating and facilitating communication between different Group Consolidation System teams regarding transport timing, financial reporting schedules, and preparation tasks.
What Kind of Skills and Background Will I Need to Have?
Experience in gathering and interpreting functional requirements.
Knowledge of financial group reporting, preferably including legal and operational reporting.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Familiarity with SQL language and VBA.
Experience with consolidation tools (preferably SAP BPC on NetWeaver) and familiarity with SAP products (ECC, BW, SAP HANA, EPM/Analysis for Office), experience on Anaplan, HFM, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, OneStream, Tagetik etc is valuable.
Basic understanding of accounting rules like IFRS and the company’s reporting instructions according to FAM.
Educational Requirements:
University degree, preferably in Finance and Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Certification in any relevant area is a welcome asset.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
