SystemsAccountants are supporting a leading Financial Services business with their search for a Workday Financials Functional Lead. This is a new role within the business, responsible for the support, administration and continued roll-out of Workday Financials across the group.

About the role:

– Running the Workday support desk using Jira, responding to day-to-day queries such as security and configuration change requests
– Maintain & develop new business processes across Workday Financials
– Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, from external Workday Consultants to Senior Finance Leadership
– Lead training for Finance and non-Finance users on Workday
– Communicate Workday best practices (and constraints) to overseas teams during the continued roll-out
– Carry out functional testing of Workday when required
– Produce and maintain process and training documentation

About you:

– Demonstrable, hands-on experience supporting Workday Financials (2+ years)
– Finance background, Accounting qualification preferred (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
– Involvement in Workday implementations
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

This role is based in London and will require weekly office travel.
