Company and Context:
Join a leading IT consulting company on an exciting project to revamp their controlling department! As an interim consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a new Target Operating Model (TOM) focused on simplifying and streamlining reporting structures. What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborating closely with the client to understand their current challenges and objectives.
Designing a high-level TOM for the controlling department, tailored to the organization’s unique needs.
Developing specific processes and reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency.
Working with stakeholders to address potential pushback and secure buy-in for the new TOM.
Providing guidance on system selection and future implementation projects post-TOM delivery.
Skills and Background Needed:
Proven experience in Finance Transformation consulting roles, preferably within Big4 or similar.
Expertise in controlling department transformation, including cost allocation, financial planning, and reporting.
Strong understanding of complex organizational structures and effective navigation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
