Finance Systems Support Specialist
London – 4 days in the office
up to £50,000 per annum

SystemsAccountants are supporting a global business with their search for a Finance Systems Support Specialist. This role is part of the Finance Technology team with the main responsibility of providing technical support to finance and tax teams, ensuring the smooth operation of their financial systems and software.

To be successful, candidates require technical skills and knowledge around finance systems. Demonstrable experience of previously supporting tools such as Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning or JDE. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for finance and technology looking to broaden their exposure to multiple finance systems applications and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– User support; trouble shooting and resolving issues
– Assisting senior managers with implementation and maintenance of the financial systems
– Maintain user access
– User training, documentation
– performing and updating monthly, quarterly and yearly group reporting procedures
– Data and Metadata maintenance and analysis
– Process improvement initiatives

Experience required to be considered for this role:

– Systems support experience with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning or JDE
– Knowledge and previous exposure to Power BI
– Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
– Strong communicator, articulate and professional
– Understanding of financial processes
– Highly competent with Microsoft Suite; Large data manipulation with complex sets of data is a must
