Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costs, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold calculations.
- Manage manufacturing accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording of production costs and inventory valuation.
- Develop and maintain standard costs for products and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing costs and inventory balances.
- Conduct regular reviews of inventory controls and implement improvements as needed.
- Utilize NetSuite to manage Bill of Materials, Formula Management, Item Master, and Unit of Measure (UOM) conversions.
- Perform BOM costed inquiries to analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost savings.
- Generate reports to provide insights into manufacturing performance, inventory levels, and cost variances.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory controls.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system.
- Experience with Bill of Materials management, Formula Management, and Inventory Management within NetSuite.
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
