Context of the role?
Join a leading top tier consulting partner as a Director/ Senior Manager grade within their CFO Advisory practice.
The practice has a great pipeline of major finance transformation projects, particularly within the FP&A/ xP&A domain. Hence, I am partnering with them to help them further build this practice within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) market.
I am particularly interested in speaking with professionals with expertise across tools like CCH Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan, SAP EPM (SAC, Group Reporting), etc.
What will I be doing?
- with CFOs to define their project needs, specifically around FP&A and Controlling process
- the client roadmap and continue to innovate going forward
- the CFO to become more strategic and leverage data and technology to improve decision-making
- design new Target Operating Models and functional roadmaps for the business
- knowledge of roles, core functions and typical procedures of the Finance function for supporting development of recommendations to identify, select and deploy the most suitable solutions (quick-wins, process reengineering, tools and organization)
- with technical partners and consultants to ensure their delivery meets the right specifications
- client stakeholder needs and requests, be the interface to the business
- clients on best practice and provide guidance on industry best practice
- the practice through mentoring junior team members and ensure effective knowledge transfer across departments
- project timelines and deadlines
- new projects within clients and propose new ideas to help formulate the client roadmap – develop new commercial activities
- trust-based and long-term relationships with clients and partners
- high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities
- exceptional client service, driving high performance from people
- by example and establish confident relationships
- key objectives for clients and the firm; align people to objectives and set priorities and direction
What background and skills will I require?
- University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business or Tech related fields
- At least 8 years of professional experience, ideally with consulting experience in Big4 or related top tier consulting/ systems integrator firms delivering international projects
- Leadership experience, building and leading teams on finance transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of Finance, FP&A and Controlling processes
- Confident communicator who can take clients on a journey
- Project management experience is an asset
- Big picture thinking and strong Transformation mindset!
- Fluency in English
