Join a large multibillion international client headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany. You will join the finance team as the go to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) expert, helping the business become less reliant on external consultants.
This is a challenging role for an experienced EPM specialist with Tagetik knowledge to take a step into the final client side!
What Will You Be Doing?
As an In-House Consultant within our Group Accounting Division, your primary responsibility will be to enhance and support our consolidation software, CCH Tagetik. Your role extends beyond routine maintenance and includes exploring opportunities for further development to meet group accounting requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Engagement and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the software manufacturer, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and testing of service packs and patches. Implement change requests and maintain the system’s functionality.
- Troubleshooting and Enhancement: Diagnose and resolve issues during ongoing operations, analyzing weaknesses, and proposing effective solutions. Develop and implement technical interfaces and data transfers.
- Complex Accounting Requirements: Design and evolve complex group accounting requirements, structurally integrating them into ‘Tagetik’ CPM processes and workflows. Identify automation potentials.
- Reporting System Development: Create and maintain a robust reporting system for specialized departments. Actively participate in and support the closing process.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and manage technical documentation and training materials. Provide internal training for team members in group accounting, controlling, and the consolidation systems department.
What profile will I require to apply?
- A completed IT or business degree
- Several years of hands-on experience with consolidation/ EPM systems, showcasing a deep understanding of IT systems, programming, customization, accounting, and related domains.
- Proficiency in CCH ‘Tagetik,’ Excel, and other reporting software, coupled with strong SQL programming skills and database management expertise.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across different areas.
- A proven track record of successful collaboration with external consultants.
