Join a leading financial consulting firm based in France, specializing in Digital Finance transformation projects for a diverse range of CAC40 and wider companies. With a focus on innovation and cutting-edge solutions, they are at the forefront of driving digital excellence in the financial and industrial sectors. You will join the consulting division with a focus on EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), BI, and ESG.
What Will I Be Doing?
As a vital member of the growing team, your role will revolve around delivering Digital Finance transformation projects across a range of clients. You’ll play a key part in shaping the financial landscape for large corporations, focusing on both the process and systems related to consolidation, controlling, and implementing advanced financial reporting standards including ESG/ CSR topics.
What Kind of Skills and Background Will I Need to Have?
- 5+ years of professional experience in EPM, Finance Consulting, or a project focused final client role.
- Ideally a finance Masters degree or related field of study
- Financial Expertise: Substantial experience in a consolidation or controlling department of a large company, ideally within CAC 40 or SFB 120. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of financial statements, the ability to handle accounting entries, and a solid grasp of P&L and Balance Sheet concepts based on a master’s degree.
- Data Orientation and Analytical Skills: A keen eye for data, coupled with strong analytical skills, is essential for success in this role.
- Communication and Leadership: Candidates should be articulate, able to express themselves effectively, and possess the capability to lead or support client presentations and workshops.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with IFRS implementation, ESG, or CSRD reporting in the financial services or industry sector is highly valued.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite. Additionally, candidates should be capable of leading discussions in English.
- MS Office Proficiency: Very good skills in Microsoft Office applications are a must.
- EPM Tool Familiarity: Knowledge of an EPM tool such as SAP Group Reporting (SAP BFC), Tagetik, OneStream, Amelkis, Oracle, TM1, Board, Anaplan, or similar would be a distinct advantage.
