TM1 Developer – Financial Analytics

Overview:
Our client is looking for a TM1 Developer in Financial Analytics. You’ll spearhead the development and enhancement of our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, tackle diverse projects, and shape the future of our financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system, covering analysis, design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify areas for system improvement.
- Support Finance in their planning and reporting cycles, leveraging TM1’s capabilities to automate processes.
- Collaborate on broader transformation projects within the Financial Analytics team.
- Provide support for complex queries, report building, and user training.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficiency in TM1 development, including cube architecture, advanced TI processes, rules, and dynamic reporting.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, FP&A activities, and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, and experience in UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying and ETL development.
- Knowledge of MDX for dynamic subsets and views.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data modeling and dashboard development.
- Minimum 5 years of TM1 development experience.
- Self-motivated, team player with a proactive attitude towards process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
