Who is the company and context?
Our client, a large global company leader in its market, is looking for their new OneStream Product Owner to join their IT department based in Paris.
What will I be doing?
As the OneStream Product Owner, you will oversee the technical aspects of OneStream, with a primary focus on consolidation, reporting, and management control systems. Additionally, you will participate in the enhancement of these solutions, encompassing architecture, design, run & build processes, and more.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external teams, as well as the editors, to ensure that the solutions effectively adapt to the company’s evolving needs.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Run Responsibilities:
- Manage OneStream Consolidation and Reporting application to meet industry and compliance requirements.
- Supervise team, set goals, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship.
- Manage integrations, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
- Oversee hosting and manage technical third-party providers.
- Ensure security, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Governance and Oversight:
- Establish and supervise the product development lifecycle.
- Drive functional and technical discussions for solution quality improvement.
- Maintain a hands-on approach to software architecture, design, and coding.
- Stay updated on new technology trends and best practices for integration into system design.
- Build (Projects) Responsibilities:
- Define project roadmap for scalability, performance, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy during project execution.
- Lead planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical projects for consolidation and FP&A scope.
What kind of skills and background will I need to have?
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills :
- A finance background, preferably with a master’s degree in finance systems or related disciplines, and/or relevant certifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in team management, with a specific focus on system consolidation, group reporting, and management control.
- Experience in maintaining applications related to FP&A and consolidation finance processes, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of both IT and finance processes.
- Proficiency in EPM tools such as OneStream (or Anaplan, HFM, Tagetik, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective leadership abilities and a delivery-focused approach.
- Proactive and driven, with the ability to cultivate relationships with various points of contact.
- Fluent in English.
