What is the role and context?
Our client is an international brand who are currently expanding their data and technology capabilities in roder to support the core business grow and become more efficient internallly.
The organisation is a large , well-established international business but has grown extensively over recent years in new markets, which puts technology and innovation at the core of its activities. They are therefore investing heavily in RPA and Automation technologies to streamline and automate as many of their processes as possible, to achieve greater efficiency and productivity across the board.
This is a full time permanent position, where someone with a strong technical base can look to grow in functional and business facing experience alongside the wider automation project team. The project is underway but the team is at it’s early stages, therefore this role will be critical in contributing to the future roadmap for the Automation strategy going forward.
What will I be doing?
- Developing RPA and Automation solutions focusing on scalability and usability
- Work with the Product Owners, Group Process Owners and Business Analysts to design and execute project plans for implementation projects
- Work with the Automation Team Lead and Transformation team to execute deployment plans
- Have exposure to wide variety of technology problems and their solutions and use that to drive the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality, and performance in the team
- Identify new candidates for automation and assess viability
- Support training of best practice in RPA and Automation tools
What skills and background will I require?
- 2+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automations (RPA) with one of the market leading RPA platforms ideally Blue Prism or Power Automate
- Programming skills in VBA, Access, .NET, Java, SQL and related skills, with a specific focus on developing Bots
- Python skills will be an advantage
- Wider AI skills and interest in evolving technologies in the Automation space
- Breadth of experience in software design/development and database architecture
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners across multiple disciplines
- Must have fluent English
- Must have the right to work in the UK
