The Senior Manager, SAP Systems – Procurement & Inventory (MM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a pivotal role in guiding transactional process flows and system procedures within SAP, specifically focusing on procurement and inventory management. This role is crucial in supporting the implementation and enhancement of SAP S4HANA solutions across our markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and developing S4HANA solutions and processes across all markets.
- Plan and execute implementation deliverables for portfolio projects and enhancements within deadlines.
- Support design, build, testing, data migration, and change management activities related to SAP S4HANA.
- Create high-quality project documentation, user training materials, and user support content.
- Manage system operational responsibilities including data integrity checks and system setups.
- Conduct systems and process demonstrations, exercises, and training sessions for users.
- Resolve user issues promptly, either directly or through coordination with IT support teams.
- Collaborate with finance operations and supply chain teams to assess system security, enhancement needs, and process improvements.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance operations system processes.
- Provide regular status updates to SAP and business leadership.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and facilitate smooth implementation phases and Go-Live transitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Supply Chain procurement and materials management.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP MM.
- 2+ years of experience with SAP S4HANA.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP data structure and reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, including handling large datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a publicly traded manufacturing, CPG, or cannabis company.
- Prior experience with SAP implementations.
