Introduction to the Position
One of my Swedish clients is embarking on a Workday implementation project and is seeking to hire a Workday Financials Project Manager to lead the implementation alongside their implementation partner. This role is pivotal to the success of the project, requiring a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure the implementation is delivered on time and within budget.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday Financials implementation project.
- Collaborate closely with the implementation partner to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing ERP implementation projects (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP).
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Swedish language skills are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work on-site in Stockholm for 3 days a week.
