What Will I Be Doing?

  • Drive the further development and continuous improvement of efficient general ledger business processes and workflows
  • Ensure harmonized ways of working within the finance organizations for the ERP system INFOR M3 and other linked systems
  • Own and maintain the global Group Chart of Accounts, considering implications for local Charts of Accounts
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and guidelines
  • Support the roll-out of the template across the Group in collaboration with Roll-out Managers, Group Process Owners, IT, and consulting resources
  • Support the change process of the template in close collaboration with local super users
  • Design training concepts and deliver training sessions

Responsibilities

You will have global responsibility for business scenarios and workflows for the finance template based on the Infor solution stack and related legacy systems. Within that assigned scope:

  • Further develop and improve the finance template, including business scenarios, processes, roles, internal and process controls, software components, and related process governance
  • Ensure standardized, consistent, and efficient ways of working within all companies
  • Manage the super user community for all finance processes (Local Process Owner concept)
  • Support the Group Process Owner Finance with strategic projects
  • Ensure alignment with all involved stakeholders for the finance end-to-end business scenarios
  • Capture business scenarios in the group-wide business process management tool ARIS
  • Oversee the global Group Chart of Accounts, considering local implications
  • Support the roll-out of the Infor solution stack, including legacy systems like treasury or banking
  • Develop and certify skills within the organization by creating and conducting training sessions, educating trainers, and managing training and certification
  • Ensure adherence to the template and standardized ways of working
  • Manage regression testing across the organization
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and application
  • Address local issues raised by Local Process Owners and, where appropriate, amend the template to ensure efficient execution of day-to-day processes
  • Analyze functionality from future releases, build roll-out plans for new functionality, and manage its execution across the organization

What Kind of Skills and Background Will I Need to Have?

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Approximately 10+ years of work experience in the finance area of international companies (ideally FMCG)
  • Extensive experience in leading and implementing change within an organization
  • Leadership experience in projects or initiatives with teams of internal resources and/or consultants
  • Strong controlling, reporting, and business partnering skills
  • Consulting-like behavior to influence colleagues without direct hierarchical power
  • Experience working with or implementing business intelligence solutions like Qlikview or Birst
  • Work experience in managing business processes and organizational change
  • Solid understanding of IT solutions like ERP, business intelligence, and other business software
  • Consistently seek to improve processes and effectively lead people through changes
  • Proficiency in standard office software
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and German
  • Strong results orientation and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
