Finance Process Owner – Accounting
An international manufacturing company is underway with a business transformation programme and are rolling out new Financial Systems and processes globally.
They are looking for a Finance Process Owner to join their team and take ownership of core Accounting processes, GL, AP, AR.
As Finance Process owner, you will own, maintain and improve the Chart of Accounts standard processes, at Group and local level. You will develop best-practice Accounting policies and standards and will drive the adoption of these across the business, working closely with international finance stakeholders to implement and maintain key policies.
You will support the international Finance Systems and ERP transformation programme and will play a key role in the set-up and deployment of best-practice Accounting processes and financial systems!
Your profile:
- Strong Accounting and Finance knowledge (GL, AP, AR), and experience in a Finance Process improvement or Business Transformation setting
- 5+ years’ experience of Accounting process and improvement project experience, including Change Management
- Experience delivering Finance Change programmes at Group level and working with local international entities
- Accounting process mapping, transformation and migration experience, e.g. SSC set up, migration, business process harmonisation, Acquisition integration or carve-out for Finance / R2R processes
- Experience in ERP & Financial Systems, ideally in a project setting: eg: SAP FICO, SAP S4 Hana Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, JDE, Peoplesoft, Microsoft D365, Microsoft AX, Infor, IFS, QAD or similar
- Knowledge of German GAAP / HGB
- Strong communication skills in German and English
