Who is the company and context?

We are currently looking for a BFC Administrator (M/F) to join the team of our client, an international group in the insurance industry. The position is based in Belgium.

What will I be doing?

As a BFC Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

• System implementation and integration: You play a key role in the implementation and integration of new consolidation and reporting tools. You collaborate with the finance department and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
• You maintain and configure existing and future consolidation tools to meet business needs.
• You serve as the subject matter expert for the future tool.
• You implement financial reports in consolidation and reporting tools.
• You develop interfaces between these different tools.
• You monitor and enhance the performance of the consolidation application.
• You document training materials for the product area.
• You deliver training to end users, deployment, and support teams.
• You collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot issues.
• You follow the change management policy when implementing and maintaining financial reports in the reporting tools.

What kind of skills and background will I need to have?

With a background in engineering or a Master’s degree in finance and/or information systems (BAC+5), you ideally have an understanding of financial processes and a business-oriented vision. You are comfortable with SAP BFC. Knowledge of SQL is highly appreciated. You possess a true entrepreneurial spirit, are autonomous, rigorous, and serious. Fluent in English.
