Accounting Process Owner – Finance
A large international company is transforming their Accounting Processes and Business Operating Model. Currently underway with a large Digital transformation programme, they are looking for an experinced Group Accounting Lead or Finance Process Owner to join their team and take ownership of core Accounting processes, GL, AP, AR.
Sitting as part of Group Finance and Accounting, you will own, maintain and improve the Chart of Accounts at Group level. Working with stakeholders in local business units, you will analyse COA Gaps and will work to design and deliver best-practice Accounting policies and standards at Group and local level. Working with Business Transformation stakeholders, you will drive adoption of these across the business, working closely with international finance stakeholders to implement and maintain key policies.

Your profile:
- Excellent Accounting knowledge (GL, AP, AR) and understanding of related Finance Processes
- 5+ years’ experience delivering Accounting process design, process change or improvement projects
- Finance Change Management and Governance, ideally delivering programmes at Group level and working with local international entities
- Accounting process mapping, transformation, migration and Governance expertise
- Finance transformation project experience e.g. Chart of Accounts Design/Redesign, SSC set up, migration, business process harmonisation, Acquisition integration or carve-out for Finance / R2R processes
- Experience in ERP & Financial Systems, ideally in a project setting: eg: SAP FICO, SAP S4 Hana Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, JDE, Peoplesoft, Microsoft D365, Microsoft AX, Infor, IFS, QAD or similar
- Knowledge of German GAAP / HGB
- Strong communication skills in German and English
