Our client in Orange County, CA is in search of a talented and seasoned Workday Financials Business Systems Analyst to bolster their team. As an integral part of their Finance-driven support division, you’ll spearhead efforts to optimize and sustain their Workday Financials platform, crucial for aligning with their financial strategies and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with diverse teams, spanning Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, to discern business needs and translate them into actionable Workday Financials solutions.
– Customize, uphold, and refine the Workday Financials system to adapt to evolving business landscapes and regulatory mandates.
– Act as the go-to expert for Workday Financials, providing adept guidance to end-users, and adeptly resolving system glitches.
– Craft and execute meticulous test strategies, conducting system tests and overseeing user acceptance tests (UAT) to uphold system integrity and precision.
– Engage in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, evaluating their implications on current configurations and processes.
– Develop and maintain exhaustive system documentation, encompassing process diagrams, user manuals, and training aids.
– Collaborate with external partners and consultants when necessary to implement new features or modules.
– Monitor system performance, preemptively identifying enhancement opportunities, and implementing improvements and best practices.
– Keep abreast of industry trends, Workday updates, and advancements in financial systems, offering insights for ongoing enhancements.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Demonstrated expertise as a Workday Financials Business Systems Analyst or in a similar capacity.
– Robust comprehension of finance and accounting fundamentals, processes, and industry best practices.
– Profound knowledge of Workday Financials configuration and functionalities.
– Track record in system implementation, configuration, and upkeep.
– Exceptional problem-solving and analytical prowess.
– Stellar communication and interpersonal aptitude, fostering effective collaboration across diverse teams.
– Detail-oriented with adept multitasking abilities, thriving in dynamic environments
– Ability to work onsite in Orange County, CA 3-4 days per week
– Preferred: Workday Financials certification.
