FP&A Expert – Finance IT
An international Scale-up company in Madrid is looking for an FP&A Lead with good IT systems and transformation experience to join the team.
Lead projects to implement, optimise and improve the Financial Analysis and Planning process and IT system. Working closely with Finance stakeholders and IT developers, this role will deliver projects to design Finance Performance Management processes and systems (EPM / CPM solutions).
You will be involved in the design, implementation, and improvement of the FP&A IT System solution and will drive a pipeline of improvement projects!
The role:
- FP&A process design, data modelling and EPM System design and implementation
- Finance Business Analysis including requirements gathering with finance stakeholders, designing finance budgeting and planning processes and Reporting
- Deliver continuous improvement for finance and controlling processes and systems
- Collaborate with IT partners to deliver EPM System optimisation and development, and integrations with 3rd party systems
- Maintain and drive a pipeline of Finance improvement projects and optimisation work for Financial Planning Systems and Processes and FP&A Modelling
Your profile
- 3+ years’ experience as FP&A expert with project experience, e.g. process transformation or IT EPM System implementation
- Experience with FP&A tools, ideally Workday Adaptive Planning
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes, ideally for SAAS businesses
- Strong IT affinity including implementation of Business Systems, ERP or Financial Systems
- Finance process transformation or Finance PMO / Project Management experience
