Manager Group Accounting – German HGB
Join a growing international technology company as Group Accounting Manager. This role will deliver Accounting and Reporting for the Finance team and deliver Group Accounting according to German GAAP (HGB).
The company uses Oracle Netsuite as the Financial system and is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Group Accounting Manager with excellent knowledge of Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB / German GAAP) to deliver Financial Accounting and support associated finance operations across GL, AP, AR.
The right candidate will be an experienced Senior Financial Accountant or Group Accounting Manager with HGB knowledge and will be comfortable delivering day-to-day accounting operations working in German with local Tax advisors and Accounting consultants.
Your role:
- Financial Accounting at Group and Local level
- Preparing Financial Accounts according to HGB/German GAAP
- General Ledger Accounting, data cleansing and reconciliation
- Supporting month end / Year end close activities
- Supporting financial audit and working with Auditors in German and English
- Liaising with German Steuerberater (Tax Accountants) and Audit teams in local language
- Accounts Receiveable, Bank Recs and Accounts Payable records reconciliation
Your experience:
- Accountant with 3+ years’ experience
- Fluent German and English
- Excellent knowledge of German GAAP HGB
Location: Germany, Düsseldorf area Nordrhein-Westfalen. Other locations in Germany possible!
