SAP B1 Systems Developer

£40,000 + per annum

West Yorkshire (hybrid working)

SystemsAccountants are currently working on behalf of a client to find an ERP Developer from a SAP Business One background to assist in various ERP projects within the IT/Transformation team. The purpose of the team is to make the best and most efficient use of ERP systems to make the business processes optimized and to allow growth through systems integration, bespoke developed user facing and software, background processes and SQL data extracts. Taking a key role in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems, this role will help the client be more efficient across all areas of the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with the ERP Systems Manager in the design of any Systems and process
  • Develop software solutions from designs provided by ERP Systems Manager
  • Design and develop solutions to increase efficiencies throughout the business
  • Managing, developing and maintaining all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Maintaining security systems including backing up and redundancy (obsolete) strategies
  • To offer exceptional first line support to all internal customers on any systems related queries ensuring quick, professional and knowledgeable response.
  • To work as an intermediary with our IT support companies and escalate issues and work with them on solutions as necessary
  • Whilst the Developer must work within guidelines, they need to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems using their own initiative and technical knowledge
  • Provide training for staff on all software, including but not limited to: SAP Business One, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, VOIP, MS Teams
  • Be responsible for auditing systems and procedures
  • Deploy new systems to live processing either alone or with support from ERP system support analyst

Role Requirements

  • Previous SAP Business One experience required – ideally at least 2 years of experience as a SAP B1 Developer
  • Essential: HTML5 & CSS3, JavaScript, C#.NET
  • Preferred: Bootstrap, jQuery, Entity Framework, Power BI (Fabric) API, Graph API
  • 3+ years of experience as a Developer
  • Previous experience in a simlar project – using DI API processes to integrate an ERP to web front-end
