Senior Consultant Finance Transformation – Consulting Firm
Context of the role?
Join a leading global top-tier consulting partner as a Senior Consultant grade to a team who have a core specialisation in delivering high profile, international projects within this Digital Finance Transformation space.
It will suit those with a strong project focused background, with experience leveraging offshore delivery teams for the technical delivery combined with functional design expertise for a range of finance transformation and digitalisation projects.
Due to an increasing project pipeline across Europe, the team must grow, so be part of the journey and apply now!
Ideally based in Cork, but open to consider Dublin or other areas of Ireland as well.
What will I be doing?
- Support with the initial scoping and design phase, acting as the SME for all solution design topics around finance transformation.
- Broad range of projects ranging from P2P optimisation to EPM planning projects as well including Anaplan roll outs
- Guide clients on process improvement and standardization
- Engage senior leadership to help establish their vision and pursue their Digital and Finance Transformation journey
- Work with technical partners and consultants to ensure their delivery meets the right specifications
- Manage client stakeholder needs and requests, be the bridge between vendors and clients
- Train clients on best practice and provide guidance on best practice
- Monitor project timelines and deadlines, delivering to project schedules and ensuring effective project communication
What background skills might I require?
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related studies, ideally Qualified Accountant as well ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA
- At least 2 years of consulting experience in Big4 or related top tier consulting/ systems integrator firms delivering international projects
- Strong knowledge of Accounting/ Corporate Finance
- Finance process expertise e.g. R2R, P2P, FP&A, Financial Consolidation
- Confident communicator who can take clients on a journey
- Project management experience is an asset e.g. PMP, Prince 2 etc.
- Fluency in English
- Must have EU citizenship, right to travel as some international travel in the role
