My client is a software company and they are seeking a new Sales team member to join as an Account Manager and drive their continued expansion in the territory. The position will drive customer acquisition for their Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software and consulting services.
This role will have considerable support from the management team, wider account management and presales organisation, and considerable marketing efforts.
What will I be doing?
- Generate new business sales and manage key accounts
- Leverage key contacts within your network to identify opportunities for product sales
- Network with CFO, CIO, Group Controllers, Finance Directors and related senior stakeholders
- Manage E2E sales process through to closure
- Work with the pre-sales and professional services teams at all stages
- Develop strong relationships and network within the market to further the brand
- Work with the management team to grow the practice and develop new sales strategies
- Improve sales materials alongside marketing, develop local sales packs for Hong Kong market
- Mentor more junior colleagues within the team
What type of background will suit this role?
- 4+ years of professional experience selling IT solutions OR consulting/ professional services in B2B environment
- Prior experience within the EPM sector is a huge plus including any product knowledge of tools like; Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, BOARD CPM, CCH Tagetik, Oracle EPM, SAP EPM/ BPC/ SAC/ Group Reporting, Lucanet, Prophix, VENA, Pigment.
- Ideally expertise with products related to the CFO office e.g. ERP, EPM, BI and Finance Analytics products
- Any accounting/ finance knowledge is a major plus!
- Must have fluent English
- Excellent market understanding and network, ability to map markets efficiently
- Visa sponsorship may be possible for the right candidate with all the righ credentials
