SystemsAccountants is partnering with a repeat manufacturing client in the Fort Lauderdale area to place a Controller. This role is part of a broader organization-wide transformation, encompassing finance, systems, and operations, enabling the company to massively scale over the next year.
The Controller reports directly to the CFO and oversees a small team. The ability to lead and upskill that team will be critical to this role.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, manage a team of 3-5 accounting professionals
- Own all accounting processes – month-end close, journal entries, etc.
- Assist in ongoing NetSuite implementation
Qualifications
- Previous accounting leadership experience (controller, accounting manager, etc.)
- Previous NetSuite experience required
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Manufacturing, food & bev, retail, or distribution experience preferred
