As a Workday HRIS Admin, you will be responsible for configuring, updating, and troubleshooting the Workday platform while providing support and training to users to ensure optimal use. Your role will include crafting customized reports and dashboards, working with various teams to refine processes, and assessing business needs to tailor software configurations. Additionally, you’ll oversee testing protocols for application updates, ensure adherence to SOX regulations through regular reviews, and liaise with auditors. Effective communication about system changes and thorough documentation for training and reference will also be key aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and sustain the Workday system, focusing on its setup, updates, and problem-solving.
  • Offer assistance and training to users to maximize their use of Workday features.
  • Design and deploy personalized reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
  • Partner with various departments to optimize processes and improve system performance.
  • Assess and record business requirements for software configurations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee standard testing processes for application updates, including the development, review, execution, and tracking of test plans and results.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations related to the Workday system.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to address compliance matters and document internal controls for Workday processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for SOX compliance audits and evaluations.
  • Effectively convey system updates and changes to users.
  • Engage in project planning and execution for Workday-related projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures for training and future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Workday HRIS Analyst/Admin. Workday certification in relevant areas is a plus.
  • Skilled in Workday reporting and analytics, including the creation of reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with SOX compliance and Segregation of Duties in a corporate setting.
  • Strong grasp of HR, Finance, and IT processes and their integration with Workday.
  • Familiarity with other ERP systems and their integration with Workday is advantageous.
