Our long-term client is currently looking for a Data Architect to lead their Azure platform and Data.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data and reporting platforms, including data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring data is effectively organized for BI tool consumption.
• Oversee data resources to ensure they are fulfilling daily responsibilities and project requirements.
• Ensure robust integration, data, security, and business architecture design throughout all project and system implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, efficient, and sustainable data solutions.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business enhancement.
• Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data security protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor data integrity, privacy, and access controls, implementing measures to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate data governance practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business operations, and executive leadership, to drive data-driven initiatives and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members on data architecture principles, data analytics tools, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data management and analytics, applying knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
