Job Title: Head of Finance Systems

Location: London | Largely Remote (1x day/week)

Salary: £100,000 – 120,000 + package

Head of Finance Systems (D365) is required for this global customer to lead, shape and drive the digital business systems roadmap with particular focus surrounding the entire D365 estate and it’s associated periphery systems.

This newly created Head of Finance Systems position will have ownership for the implemented D365 F&O ERP system and broader business system landscape (ISV’s, OneStream, 3rd Parties) that impact on the business. You will join and create a high performing team combining Finance IT hybrid skill sets to build collaborative partnerships across Finance, IT and wider business functions. Leveraging your extensive Business Process & ERP expertise and people management skills you will partner with internal stakeholders and End users, whilst forming excellent vendor relationships with external parties to support and optimise scalable Finance Technology solutions.

As the Head of Finance Systems your key accountabilities will include:

• Develop and manage a Transition plan to transition from D365 Implementation team to BAU.
• Lead the continuous improvement and implementation, integration and ongoing managemt of D365 F&O, OneStream, ISV’s and the Power Platform.
• Collaborate with wider business units to identify opportunites for new SaaS systems and on-going business system improvement.
• Drive robust governance structures, best practices and SOP for the entire Enterprise ecosystem.
• Ensure execution of overall group objectives working in collaboration with other colleagues and business functions globally.
• Implement, document and own the IT General Controls (ITGC’s) across the finance systems to ensure a robust control environment across our critical business system.
• Manage budgets with regard to business systems ensuring a cost-effective approach and ROI.
• Manage the MSP & 3rd party off-shore resource alongside the internal on-shore team comprising Analysts, Developers and Architect’s.
• Encourage increased adoption of Enterprise Applications across the group and identify opportunities for new technology.

Being successful in this position requires a D365 Systems professional with a application and Finance backgroundand has proven support and management experience across the Finance/IT hybrid vertical whilst having key touch points on ERP (D365) and Finance Technology within a fast paced environment. Proven project management and change management experience will be key in this position along with strong leadership and vendor management experience. You will be an excellent communicator and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
