Our client is seeking a Financial Solutions Manager – Planning & Reporting to support their expanding team. This role is central to optimizing and managing financial planning and reporting solutions at an enterprise level, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. In this fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge financial solutions that drive operational excellence and support the company’s strategic goals.
What are the responsibilities?
- Oversee the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of financial planning and reporting tools, ensuring they align with the business strategy.
- Serve as the key point of contact between business departments and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and execution of Enterprise Performance Management initiatives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of a product roadmap, aligning priorities with business needs and maximizing the value delivered by financial planning tools.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions that meet both current and future needs.
- Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops to ensure that teams are equipped to use the financial tools effectively and efficiently.
What professional background and skills are required?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting within a corporate environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading EPM-related projects, with a focus on the successful deployment of financial tools and systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of EPM tools such as Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, or similar platforms.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Proficient in the use of Agile project management tools and methodologies to track project progress and manage tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
