Group Systems Accountant
We are excited to be partnering with a global organisation to find a skilled and dynamic Financial Systems Accountant to join their Group Finance function. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the development and management of financial systems, collaborating across a global organisation to ensure seamless financial consolidation and drive continuous improvement in processes.
What You’ll Do:
As the Financial Systems Accountant, you will be pivotal in supporting the maintenance and enhancement of financial consolidation systems, providing key training to users, and ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the maintenance and development of the Group’s consolidation system, including upgrades and system documentation.
- Delivering training to new and existing users on system functionality, ensuring effective system use across global finance teams.
- Working closely with the Group Finance team, local finance teams, IT, and third-party support to implement system enhancements and resolve issues.
- Playing a major role in system integration, particularly in the ongoing ERP implementation, to improve process efficiency and the overall user experience.
- Overseeing the accurate execution of consolidation processes, multi-currency reporting, and streamlined workflows to support Group financial reporting.
What You’ll Bring:
We are looking for someone with a solid blend of accounting experience combined with financial systems expertise, ideally within a consolidation systems environment ie Cognos Controller, TM1, Tagetik, OneStream, SAP BPC, Tagetik
