Introduction to the Position
Join a fast-growing Private Equity firm in Germany as a German-speaking Accountant! Our client is looking for a skilled finance professional to support their accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment where you will handle a variety of accounting tasks while utilizing NetSuite ERP. If you have a strong background in accounting and experience with NetSuite, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations
- Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Utilize NetSuite ERP to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Contribute to process improvements and financial controls within the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
- Experience in accounting, ideally within a Private Equity or financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of German accounting regulations (HGB) and tax requirements
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
