Role Title: ERP Project Manager
Status: 2-year FTC
Location: Midlands | Hybrid (1-2x days/week)
Salary: £80,000 + package
The ERP Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and facilitate seamless collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams. The primary objective is to optimize processes, enhance organizational efficiency, and successfully deliver the ERP project within budget and on schedule.
Principal Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Monitor and manage project progress to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Team Leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication of goals, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, provide updates, and address concerns.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Proactively address issues, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum.
Training and Change Management
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support user adoption of the ERP system.
Reporting and Documentation
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including decisions, changes, and lessons learned.
Post-Implementation Support
- Oversee the transition to BAU support team.
Technical Knowledge, Professional Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
- Certification in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge
- Financial Systems Expertise: Strong understanding of finance and accounting systems, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and financial reporting tools.
- Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project, with the ability to track and report on project progress.
Experience
- Finance Systems Projects: Proven track record of managing full lifecycle ERP implementation projects (Dynamics BC) from initiation to post-implementation support in a Project Manager Role.
- Change Management: Experience in leading or contributing to change management initiatives, training, and user adoption strategies during system implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and risks in complex, large-scale projects
