Freelance SAP SAC Developer – Financial Planning, Budget & Forecasting (Remote, Europe)
We are currently seeking an experienced SAP SAC Developer to support our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, in optimizing their financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This is a freelance/interim opportunity, fully remote, and open to candidates based in Europe.
Role Overview
As an SAP SAC Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) platform, with a focus on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functionalities. You will work closely with the client’s finance and IT teams to develop, implement, and refine SAC models, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SAC planning models tailored to financial processes.
- Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling within SAP SAC.
- Integrate SAC with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or other data sources to enable seamless reporting.
- Provide technical expertise on SAC scripting, calculations, and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing SAC dashboards and reports.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an SAP SAC Developer, specifically in financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Strong expertise in SAC planning models, scripting (Data Actions, Advanced Formulas), and story design.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.
- Experience with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or other ERP integration.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively with teams across Europe.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Contract Details
- Duration: Interim/Freelance assignment (3-6 months, extension possible).
- Location: Fully remote (Europe-based candidates only).
