Travelex Group is one of the world’s leading foreign exchange providers. The company specialises in foreign currency exchange for travellers, corporations, and financial institutions. It also runs ATMs and offers such related products and services as travel insurance, traveller’s cheques, and money transfers. Travelex and its subsidiaries have 1,100 locations in more than 25 countries around the world.

The challenge:

The company had grown both organically and by acquisition in recent years. As a result, the company had been lacking a common set of processes and systems across Finance, the Middle Office and its front office/retail environment.

The solution:

The ‘One Platform’ Programme was initiated to deliver a common set of processes and systems across the organisation. CODA Financials was selected to be the Finance platform, and this has become one of the largest CODA programmes in the UK.

The outcome:

Over 24 months, SystemsAccountants was engaged to supply specialist CODA resource to the programme, alongside business resource and consultants from the vendor (Unit4). Over the course of the programme we provided a team of 10 contractors, ranging from Workstream Leads, Business Analysts and Functional Consultants, to a Chart of Accounts design expert and a CODA Support consultant.
