Introduction to the Position
Our client, a rapidly growing business with multiple European entities, is seeking a skilled Accountant with a background as a Steuerfachangestellter to join their team.
This exciting opportunity involves supporting day-to-day accounting functions and contributing to the establishment of scalable business operations across various European locations. The role will leverage Workday Financials as the primary ERP system to streamline and optimize financial processes.

Your Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain accurate financial records
- Help implement and optimize Workday Financials for accounting processes
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
- Assist in managing audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
- Contribute to the development of scalable accounting processes for multiple European entities
- Support the preparation of tax filings and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Background as a Steuerfachangestellter with solid accounting experience
- Experience working with Workday Financials is a strong advantage
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with a focus on process optimization
- Knowledge of European financial regulations and tax compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
