The Assistant Vice President in the Corporate & Technology Services department will play a pivotal role within the Operations team, overseeing critical aspects of supplier lifecycle management, budgeting, and financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including procurement and contract management, aligned with the Vendor Management program.
  • Take charge of the department’s $70mm+ budget, ensuring accurate expense forecasting, spend management, and financial analysis.
  • Support monthly expense reconciliation and annual budgeting processes.
  • Facilitate timely invoice processing to maintain uninterrupted services.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and collaborate with department leads to recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements, understanding departmental expense components and profitability metrics.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure compliance and foster strong relationships.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on supplier lifecycle management, expense management, and budget processes to team members.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and supplier management.
  • Proven expertise in developing and reviewing complex financial models.
  • Advanced understanding of budget management and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Experience in procurement processes, commercial negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Track record of engaging and managing stakeholders across various levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; familiarity with Workday or similar FP&A software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IT purchasing processes is a plus.
