What Will I Be Doing?
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure to support comprehensive financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Create, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
What Kind of Skills and Background Will I Need to Have?
- Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer with a focus on financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report creation and dashboard management.
- Extensive experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
