Role Title: Business Central Implementation Lead
Status: Contract – Outside of IR35
Location: London | 3 days/week
Rate: £450-550p.d

The successful candidate will manage the implementation of Microsoft Business Central as the organization’s new ERP solution, working alongside an appointed implementation partner. The system is scheduled to go live in October 2025, with this position focusing on successful implementation and optimization through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with the Business Central implementation partner
• Develop and manage detailed project plans
• Lead configuration and testing phases
• Articulate and deliver finance requirements within project scope
• Support and coordinate the project team
• Champion the financial system across the organization
• Develop systems to meet organizational needs
• Establish and maintain reporting and analysis tools
• Manage stakeholder communications and KPI reporting
• Coordinate training delivery for finance and non-finance users
• Facilitate support for the wider Finance function

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record implementing complex finance systems in medium/large organizations
• Experience managing integrations between finance and business-critical systems
• Strong understanding of data migration principles
• Project management expertise across all delivery phases
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive progress and maintain momentum
• Not-for-profit sector experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• D365 Business Central Project Management experience
