Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance Operations:

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly closing processes.

Manage financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and nonprofit standards.

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to align with organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including IRS reporting requirements for nonprofits (e.g., Form 990).

Lead annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
NetSuite ERP Administration:

Serve as the organization’s NetSuite subject matter expert and system administrator.

Oversee and optimize the NetSuite ERP system to support accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes.

Develop and implement enhancements, workflows, and dashboards within NetSuite to improve efficiency and reporting.

Provide training and support to staff on NetSuite functionality and best practices.

Collaborate with IT and leadership to ensure system integrity, upgrades, and integrations.
Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead and mentor a small accounting and finance team, fostering growth and professional development.

Collaborate with senior leadership and program managers to provide financial insights and recommendations to support organizational strategy.

Support grant management processes, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance for restricted and unrestricted funds.
