6 Months interim assignment – 3 days on-site in Amsterdam office required.

What is the Context of the Company and Role?

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our client’s EPM (Enterprise Performance Management team. This role is crucial in ensuring their internal customers receive top-notch service and technical assistance, helping them resolve any issues they encounter and maintaining their satisfaction around the Oracle EPM stack.

What Will I Be Doing?

As a Oracle EPM Technical Support Engineer, you will:

  • Address customer inquiries related to our products and diagnose their issues, specifically around EPBCS.
  • Provide remote support to troubleshoot and resolve configuration problems for our customers.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to complex technical issues across the EPM products, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to address support challenges, training needs, and other issues.
  • Report software bugs to the development teams.
  • Update and maintain articles in the technical knowledge base.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled positively and with a high sense of urgency.
  • Lead by example, encouraging information sharing, team-based problem-solving, cross-training, and quick, effective case resolution.
  • Assist in developing innovative solutions and building strong customer relationships.

What Skills and Background Will I Need?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree in a technology or finance-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with EPM tools, specifically EPBCS.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software application troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting practices and principles.
  • Experience with PowerShell, VB.net, Visual Basic, or any object-oriented programming.
  • Experience supporting customers in a Windows environment (Windows 10, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, SQL, VMware, and/or Hyper-V).
  • Microsoft Certifications (Windows, SQL Server, Azure, Office-Excel).
