Finance Power BI Reports Developer
About the Role: I am seeking a highly skilled Finance Power BI Reports Developer with expertise in Databricks, business controlling, data cleansing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering key insights for finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for financial analysis and business controlling.
- Integrate and transform financial data from multiple sources using Databricks, SQL, and Power Query.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
- Work closely with finance, business controlling, and IT teams to gather requirements and optimize reporting solutions.
- Implement DAX calculations and measures to support advanced analytics.
- Automate data pipelines and workflows for efficient reporting processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to aid in decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI performance for large datasets.
- Maintain and develop documentation for reports, datasets, and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Power BI development for finance and business controlling functions.
- Strong experience in Databricks, SQL, and Power Query for data integration and transformation.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building advanced measures and KPIs.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business controlling principles.
- Hands-on experience with data cleansing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize Power BI performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.).
- Knowledge of Python or Spark for data processing in Databricks.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (D365) and financial data structures.
