Finance Systems Analyst – OneStream
Remote working from the UK – Occasional visit to the office
Salary – £60,000 per annum
The role of the Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful implementation, administration andcontinuous improvement of OneStream.
Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing development and optimisation of OneStream for budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
- Maintain and configure OneStream to align with the accounting and reporting needs of the business.
- Collaborate with the finance team to define, scope, and implement enhancements and developments in OneStream, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage the integration processes between the source system and OneStream, as well as between OneStream and other systems/data sources.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the current OneStream configuration and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Assist in creating and maintaining OneStream administrator and end-user documentation.
- Provide comprehensive training to end users on OneStream functionalities, including support for issue resolution.
- Work closely with local IT and teams abroad to create, manage, and prioritise finance system change requests.
- Conduct month-end close activities within OneStream to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and explore new opportunities to maximise the capabilities of the OneStream system.
- Support various ad-hoc finance activities to help the team meet its commitments to the Board.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on finance systems.
- Experience in systems projects from design specification through to post-implementation.
- Familiarity with OneStream or equivalent EPM tool (e.g., TM1, Anaplan, Hyperion Planning, HFM).
- Demonstrated success in developing and automating processes and systems.
- Strong background in root cause analysis and implementing process improvements and controls.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- A track record of adding value and driving positive change.
Knowledge and Skills:-
- Proficient in VB.NET/VBA coding; ability to analyse and modify existing code.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power Query
- SQL knowledge is a plus.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.

Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, IT or related field would be advantageous
