IBM Planning Analytics Consultant – Final client – 18 months
What is the Context of the Company and Role?
Join a large international business within their EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) and Analytics team. With one of the team members moving within the business to a new role, there is an opportunity to step into this high performing team and get involved in hugely interesting and complex IBM Planning Analytics and Azure systems environment.
The role will be for 18 months initially and may have the possibility to go permanent afterwards.
Locations the role can be based include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden
What Will I Be Doing?
- Utilize your system and solution architecture experience to understand and build architectural models for TM1 implementations, considering the big picture with data sourcing and reporting through Azure technology.
- Engage with business counterparts in Finance, Logistics, and M&S to align development projects with business needs by analyzing and creating blueprints collaboratively.
- Apply your knowledge of OLAP systems like IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1) to set clear expectations for the development team and ensure successful project delivery.
- Leverage your understanding of business processes such as financial closing, forecasting, and simulations to inform architectural decisions.
- Support development on the OLAP and Analytics platform
What Skills and Background Will I Need?
- University degree in Economics, IT, Business or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in related field
- Experience in system and solution architecture, particularly in building architectural models for TM1 implementations.
- Business-facing experience, with the ability to understand how OLAP systems like IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1) work and collaborate effectively with development teams and business counterparts.
- solid understanding of business processes, including financial closing, forecasting, and simulations.
- Experience with data science tools and algorithm modelling
- Knowledge of Databricks and Synapse.
