What is the role and context?
The Senior Developer is responsible for developing the internal IBM Planning Analytics platform within the group as the company drives forward with significant transformation across their EPM and BI stack. You will combine strong development capabilities with the ability to partner with the business, running requirements analysis, workshops to support the application design.
The role will form part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team where you will be working with a highly intrernational group of colleagues on key IT Finance topics for the group. With significant investment into their EPM and BI landscape, this is a very interesting client to join as the team continues to scale with an increasing demand from the business to scale.
What will I be doing?
- Develop the existing IBM Planning Analytics applications
- Support the user community with any IBM Planning Analytics related issues
- Review, develop and quality control all financial reports, reporting solutions
- Carry out continual improvement assessments and complete any change requests to improve application performance
- Train users on all new enhancements of IBM Planning Analytics and related applications
- Form best practices related to IBM Planning Analytics coding and development practices
What profile will I require?
- 3+ years of experience working with IBM Planning Analytics
- University degree in IT or related field
- Must have a strong development and modelling background using Cognos TM1/ IBM Planning Analytics
- Technical skills must include TM1 rules, feeders and TurboIntegrator processes
- International experience in a dispersed global team environment
- Any additional coding skills in Python or related languages is a plus
- Naturally curious and always looking to improve
- Must have fluent English language skills
